Vision

As the father of six children, I envision a community where our children never have to leave to live the life they desire and deserve. That means providing a strong foundation through K-12 education, leveraging our local colleges and universities, empowering the private sector to create jobs and grow our economy, and creating a sense of place that appeals to a diverse and growing population.

To accomplish that vision, Tallahassee needs a mayor whose impact moves beyond ribbon cuttings and rubbing elbows. Our community deserves a true leader who is responsive to community concerns and works to build consensus among groups with varying interests. We need a mayor who brings concrete ideas to the table, a willingness to work in the trenches, and the resolve to ensure we live within our means while moving Tallahassee forward.

In my campaign for mayor, it’s not about insider politics or the well-connected. It’s not about unnecessary bureaucracy created by the high and mighty. It’s about doing what’s right for Tallahassee, and most importantly, it’s about serving you.
